After ten incredible years, the Derby Pyclets production journey has come to its final chapter. What began as a revival of a piece of local food history grew into something far greater — a community filled with laughter, shared stories, and the unmistakable aroma of freshly baked pyclets. From bustling markets to doorstep deliveries, then our flagship store on Sadler Gate every flip of the griddle has been made worthwhile by the warmth, friendship, and support of our amazing customers. As of October 31st, production has come to an end, and Derby Pyclets officially closes its ovens. Though it’s hard to say goodbye, our hearts are full of gratitude for every person who’s been part of this adventure.

But just like a well-loved recipe, some things live on forever. This December, Taste the Menu: Volume Two will be released — complete with our final chapters and, for the first time ever, our beloved Derby Pyclets recipes adapted for home baking.

We’ll also be offering one final festive farewell with our limited-edition Christmas Hampers, available to pre-order now for local delivery or collection on the 23rd & 24th December.

Though Derby Pyclets is closing, its spirit will live on — in your kitchens, your memories, and forever in Derby’s culinary history. Our website and socials will become living history, story and gallery over the next month.
